The ancient education of Huizhou was extremely prosperous,and Yixian County was also booming,where there were a lot of talented people.However,comparing to ancient education,the development of modern education in Yixian County was very tortuous,for instance,the old-style private school reformation was difficult,education funding was also a trouble,the compulsory education implementation was delayed.All these became serious obstacles to the education modernization in Yixian County.The development of modern education in Yixian County was very representative in the education modernization of China,although its development was full of local characteristics,at the same time,it was also a microcosm of the development of modern education.From the particularity of modern education in Yi County,the common characteristic of modern education could be shown,by which may benefit from the education modernization in Yixian County.%徽州古代教育可谓是繁盛至极,而黟县作为其中之一也是学风昌盛,人才辈出.然而相比于古代教育黟县的近代教育发展较为曲折,私塾改制困难,教育经费难以为继,义务教育实施迟缓等,这些成为黟县教育近代化的严重障碍.黟县的近代教育发展在中国教育近代化中极具代表性,虽具有地方特色,但同时也是整个中国近代教育发展的一个缩影,从黟县近代教育的特殊性能看出整个中国近代教育的共性,当今的教育能从中得益不少.
