With increasing promotion of the General Education within Chinese colleges, the course Introduction to Sociol-ogy is offered to many college students whose majors are not related to sociology. While the value and benefits of the intro-duction of sociology courses are noticeable, there are also problems in the teaching content of the course, teaching and as-sessment methods. Therefore, the delivery of such courses is in need of reform through three aspects:1. Teaching materials and contents need to be more inclusive for students whose majors are not sociology related. 2. Teaching methods should in-volve more interaction. 3. Assessment methods need to be more practical.%随着“通识教育”理念的深入,各高校相继在非社会学专业中开设社会学概论课程。社会学概论在通识教育中具有其不可忽视的价值与作用,但当前非社会学专业“社会学概论”课程在教学内容、教学方法、考核方式上存在着需要改进的问题。因此需要从教学内容体现融合性、教学过程增强互动性、考核方式注重实践性这三个方面进行教学改革。
