This paper reported the design and practice of stratified teaching of Calculus at University of Science and Technology of China.In order to teach students in accordance of their aptitude, the freshmen at USTC were stratified three layers according to their math scores of the entrance examination.The first levels went to Elite class, where the Calculus is replaced by Mathematical Analysis B.The second levels went to the regular class, who studied the normal Calculus.Basic Calculus was designed especially for the third level students.The ultimate goal of Basic Calculus was the same as that of the normal Calculus, but the teaching period of Basic Calculus was extended to three terms, which scattered the difficulties of Calculus.Meanwhile, Basic Calculus supplied an optional progress of Calculus study.%报告了中国科大对微积分课程所作的分层教学设计与实践,利用新生入学考试的数学成绩,高分数段的学生选拔进入英才班,实施上不封顶的英才教学;中间段的学生学习普通微积分课程;对于低分数段的学生,设计了一套教学目标保持不变、进度相对缓慢、进程可以自由选择的基础微积分课程.
