cqvip:Translation,as a cross-linguistic and cross-cultural communication activity,is closely related to context,so context is an essential factor in translation teaching.In traditional translation teaching,students’contextual awareness is weak,and there are few translation practice opportunities for students.As a result,many students’translation level fails to meet the basic requirements of the market.This paper attempts to introduce the concepts and theories of context into translation teaching,and then to explore the reforms and attempts that need to be made in translation teaching after the combination of context and translation teaching.It also stresses that translation teachers are required to face new challenges and requirements coming from translation textbooks,teaching contents,and the creation of context,and to have a contextual perspective so as to achieve effective translation teaching.
