作为中国传统建筑外檐装修一个重要组成部分的栏杆，除了维护功能外还有极好的装饰功能，对建筑气势的营造也有着积极的作用。明清时期的扬州第宅建筑记录着中西文化的融汇与建筑技艺的发展。对其栏杆的形式与材料进行梳理，分析建筑功用和美学意境，可以从一个侧面补充我国建筑及其装修的地域性文化研究体系，并希望能对现代的建筑设计提供一点有益的借鉴。%Railing, as an important part of the exterior of traditional Chinese buildings, not only helps maintain and decorate the building but also contributes to its keynote. The residence buildings of Ming and Qing Dynasties represent the interexchange of Chinese and western cultures and the development of architecture. Combing the paterns and materials of the railing and analyzing its architecture function and aesthetic significance can complement the research on architecture and its decoration which is part of the regional culture and serve as efforts to provide inspiration for architecture designs in modern times.
