A new ferric(Ⅲ) complex,[Fe(L)(Cl)3] (1) [L=N-(7-(4-butoxy)-2(1H)-3,4 dihydroquinolinone)-1,4,7-triazacyclononane],has been synthesized and characterized by IR,elemental analysis and ESI-MS.The electrospray mass spectrum of 1 in solution indicates that mononuclear ion [C19H390O2N4FeCl3] (2)is the active species.Fluorescence spectroscopy studies of 2 with calf thymus DNA (ct-DNA) show that 2 partially intercalates to ct-DNA.Complex 2 with bovine serum albumin (BSA) protein investigated using fluorescence method indicated that there occurred strong binding of ferric complex to BSA over the ligand.Further,in the absence of extemal agents,supercoiled plasmid DNA cleavage by 2 was performed under aerobic condition.%以7-(4-溴丁氧基)-3,4-二氢-2(1H)-喹啉酮侧臂的TACN大环作为配体(L),采取加热回流搅拌的方法合成了1个铁的配合物[Fe(L)(Cl)3](1),并通过红外光谱、元素分析和质谱对其结构进行了表征.质谱分析结果显示,该铁配合物在溶液中的活性物种为[C19H300O2N4FeCl2](2),荧光滴定分析显示该物种能够以部分插入方式与小牛胸腺DNA发生相互作用,并且能够与牛血清蛋白BSA发生相互作用,进一步的核酸酶活性试验显示该物种在缺乏氧化还原剂的条件下能够使超螺旋质粒DNA发生断裂.
