顺应论视域下看北京楼盘的译名

摘要

中国的房地产市场近年来蓬勃发展。为了在激烈的市场竞争中取得优势地位，开发商们纷纷为旗下楼盘选取合适的英文案名。
　　 本文从维苏尔伦的顺应论的角度来探讨楼盘案名的汉译英问题。通过对收集到的北京市150个楼盘的中英文名称进行定性定量的分析，本文试图从语境顺应（主要从物质世界、社交世界和心理世界）和语言结构顺应（主要从语音、语义、词汇、修辞）两方面对楼盘案名的汉译英过程中体现的顺应性进行探讨。在解释如何将顺应论应用于楼盘案名的翻译时，采用了个案分析法，列举并仔细分析了一些楼盘英译名的成功案例。还归纳出楼盘案名汉译英时常用的翻译策略。
　　 只有当楼盘的英译名顺应了各方面的要求，才更有可能起到提升楼盘销量的作用，而这也正是开发商为楼盘取英文名称的最终目的。
