摘要

《读城记》是由著名作家易中天撰写的城市散文集，介绍了中国具有代表性的城市文化，既有“白云黄鹤”的武汉，也有“雅致奢华”的上海。作者运用幽默的语言，从多个角度分别向读者展示了中国七大城市的个性与魅力。　　译者选取《读城记》厦门篇为本次翻译源文本，原因在于厦门所代表的闽南文化是中国特色地域文化之一，介绍厦门可以让英语读者更多地了解中国的闽南文化。目标读者主要是对中国地域文化、城市文化感兴趣的英语读者；对文学翻译感兴趣的学者。此次翻译实践中不乏难点，主要在于流水句、文化负载词以及主语的翻译，译者选取比利时语言学家维索尔伦所提出的语言顺应论为指导，采取归化为主、异化为辅的翻译策略，运用语序调整法、分译法、合译法、意译等翻译方法和技巧来解决译文中的难点，向目的语读者靠拢，有助于读者更好地理解译文，增强译文的可读性和欣赏性，了解中国地域文化特色，为中国地域文化译介提供参考。
