从斯坦纳四步骤理论看葛浩文的翻译——以《生死疲劳》为例

摘要

作为译者，葛浩文为莫言获得诺贝尔文学奖立下了汗马功劳。国内目前对于葛浩文翻译研究主要研究其译本本身，或者单独研究葛浩文的翻译，忽视了其与科学翻译理论的有机结合，研究水平亟待提高。斯坦纳的阐释学翻译理论将翻译过程与阐释学理论有机结合，对于翻译理论的发展具有里程碑式的意义。
　　基于以上几点，本论文选择用斯坦纳四步骤理论研究葛译版莫言小说《生死疲劳》，旨在做到翻译理论与译者实践的有效结合，科学研究葛浩文及阐释学翻译理论。
　　论文在总结葛浩文翻译观的基础上，对其和斯坦纳四步骤理论进行比较。通过对葛浩文翻译和斯坦纳四步骤理论的比对，论文得出两者之间相契合的结论。论文的重点在于用斯坦纳四步骤理论对于葛译版《生死疲劳》的翻译过程进行解释，通过信赖、入侵、吸收、补偿四个方面分别举出实例，论证葛译版《生死疲劳》翻译的科学性。通过用斯坦纳四步骤理论研究葛译版《生死疲劳》，论文得出葛浩文翻译具备科学性的结论。
　　论文在结语部分通过论证译者在跨文化交流中的重要作用，呼吁读者重视译者的地位，正确看待诺贝尔文学奖，以期为中华文化“走出去”战略献出自己的绵薄之力。
