摘要

本文旨在讨论儿童文学的英汉翻译,并以《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》的两个汉译本为范例。儿童文学作品的翻译要以对儿童的理解为基础,在进行翻译时,应用儿童的眼睛去观察,用儿童的心去体会,用儿童的语言去表达,并能达到和儿童之间的对话。因为儿童文学的读者是儿童,这一特性决定了儿童文学翻译的特殊性,同时也造成了儿童文学翻译的一些困难。因此本着和儿童“对话”的翻译观,儿童文学的翻译应考虑到儿童兴趣、爱好,以及他们的理解能力,用符合儿童语言习惯的语言来表达。《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》是本文的研究范例,本文在对《爱丽丝》的两个汉译本的分析中,从文化差异,时间及语体风格三方面分别探讨如何在译文中体现儿童的语言特色,以及如何保留原文中的情趣,并强调好的译文应符合儿童语言习惯,同时忠实再现原文的幽默风格。文学对于儿童远不止文字上的影响,儿童文学的翻译也远不止文字上的对应。
