小说对话的语篇翻译——杨必译《名利场》个案研究

摘要

刻画鲜明的人物形象是小说的中心任务之一。人物语言既是塑造人物个性化性格的主要手段，又同时担负着展开情节、塑造形象和表现主题的艺术使命。精彩的人物对话能够使其主人公在读者心目中获得永生，无论是从忠实于原著的角度，译著文学欣赏的角度，还是读者心理感受的角度都无一例外地要求将这些不朽的人物对话再现在译著中，因此再现人物对话是每个译者的神圣使命和责任。然而，在作品创作中产生具有鲜活、传神等种种特点的人物对话已属不易，要在译著中再现这些特点更是难上加难。语篇翻译作为一门新兴的跨学科学科以其适用性、实用性和科学性得到了越来越多的关注和研究，为小说对话翻译研究开辟了一条崭新的道路。
　　 本文旨在从语篇角度对小说对话翻译展开研究，并通过与杨必译《名利场》的个案研究相结合，发掘语篇语言学对小说对话翻译的实践意义，从而证实该跨学科研究的实用性和广阔前景。
　　 第一部分对小说对话翻译研究的重要性及研究现状进行简要介绍并概述本文的写作目的及研究方法；第二部分系统地阐述了语言学及小说对话的相关知识，为进一步研究奠定了理论基础：第三部分是文学回顾，全面细致地呈现了原著、译著、原作者和译作者的相关信息；第四部分则以语境和连贯为切入点展开个案研究，通过具体的译例证明其在小说对话翻译中的实用性和必要性；最后一部分总结全文并得出启示。
