译介学视阈下中医术语翻译的文化缺省研究

摘要

中医，是中华传统文化的的集大成者。在其发展的漫长过程中，它吸收了中国文学、宗教和哲学的精髓，总结了一系列与疾病斗争的医学经验。中医以其良好的治疗效果受到越来越多的西方社会的重视。在中医国际化的大背景下，中医术语翻译是推广中医前提，是中医文化交流的需要。
　　翻译与文化紧密相关，语言的文化特性以及翻译传播文化的作用，构成“文化翻译”研究的重要内容。翻译不仅指语言形式的转化而且是文化的构建。比较文学译介学旨在研究翻译中的文化因素，从文化的角度对翻译进行研究。它关心的是原文在目标语和本族语转换过程中信息的失落、变形、增添、扩伸等问题。在跨文化翻译过程中，文化缺省是作者对其意向读者双方文化背景知识的省略。由于东西方文化背景截然不同，文化缺省可能导致目标语读者对中医产生误读或解障碍。这就要求作为译介过程中的主体的译者，既要忠实于中医原作中的名词术语又要充分发挥其创造性，运用多种翻译策略，重构翻译中文化缺省的内容。
　　在译介学视阈下，本文拟对中医术语翻译中普遍存在的文化缺省现象进行探讨，力图对这一问题获得系统认识。并分析译者在译介过程中采用的的多种表现形式的创造性叛逆，然后提出增译、节译、意译等多种合理有效的文化缺省的翻译补偿策略对缺失的文化信息进行补充和完善，以期促进中医的跨文化传播。
