翻译认知心理学视角下的英汉翻译——以《古蜀之国-遗失文明的瑰宝》（第五章）为例

摘要

本报告从认知理论视角对笔者的翻译过程进行了理性分析。此次翻译的材料为考古类文本Ancient Sichuan: Treasure from a Lost Civilization第五章Tombsand Tomb Furnishings of the Eastern Han Period的翻译.其中除了文字的翻译，还涉及到画像砖上浮雕空间画面感的重现，以及画像石人物的面部表情、姿态和服饰的描写，这是都是翻译的难点。而且，每幅配图的标题翻译，因涉及到中国古代历史文化和风俗习惯，在翻译时要做到精准、忠实和地道，也是有难度的。笔者认为，一篇好的译文主要取决于译者储备的先知识和原文心理现实再现的质量。
　　本报告主要有六部分内容:翻译项目简介、译前准备和翻译过程、所用理论介绍、案例分析、相关词汇表和实践总结。引言中简要介绍了翻译项目。译前准备中包含相关资料的搜集、翻译过程。案例分析中，笔者采用了颜林海教授的认知翻译理论的三条重要理论原则:(1)认知翻译的本质是心理现实的再现;(2)翻译认知的过程是:现实---认知---语言;(3)翻译单位应该是命题。这三条理论原则较好地指导了翻译实践以及翻译批评。最后，译者总结了此次翻译实践中语言转换的心得，以及翻译理论与实践结合的不足。
