功能对等理论视角下的字幕翻译等效研究——以美剧《绝望的主妇》为个案分析

摘要

近些年来，随着中国与国际各国的交流与合作日益频繁，中国的电影业也有了极大的发展。尤其是英语影片大量地涌入了中国电影市场。考虑到字幕翻译受到时间和空间限制的这一问题，为了满足电影观众了解不同国家的信息和文化的需求，译者需在有限的时间和空间内最大程度地传达出原文的意思，找到与原文最自然最贴切的译入语，本文以尤金·奈达的功能对等理论为依据，分析了美剧《绝望的主妇》的字幕翻译，旨在检验是否达到了对等效果并对今后电影字幕翻译的研究提出了建设性意见。
　　论文第一章主要介绍了论文的理论依据、目的、研究问题、方法和组织结构。在第二章中，文献综述概括了西方不同翻译学派的翻译理论，为功能对等理论的提出做了铺垫或延伸。第三章主要涉及了尤金·奈达的功能对等理论，对其标准、原则及奈达的贡献都进行了详细的论述。第四章论述了电影字幕翻译的定义、特征、功能及存在的不足。第五章主要概述了奈达的功能对等理论应用于美剧《绝望的主妇》使用的字幕翻译策略，并检验能否达到对等的最终效果。最后一章作者通过分析和总结，得出了一些实践性的结论。
　　奈达理论并非绝对的真理，而且电影字幕翻译还有其他复杂的情况，作者希望今后有更多译者不断探索，完善电影字幕理论和技巧，以推动字幕翻译的不断发展和完善。
