大学生对中外教师英语教学的看法

摘要

在中国，尽管大部分外语都是由中籍教师来教授，但是很多人都认为应该由外籍教师来教授。近些年，已经出现了少量的关于中籍教师和外籍教师的研究，但是他们的视点往往都集中在教师自身的评价上，很少有研究会把重点放在学生的评价上。因此，关于学生对中外籍教师的评价就显得很必要。
　　本研究调查了大学生对中外籍教师的看法。来自江西师范大学的150名英语专业大三的学生（25名男生，125名女生）参加了此次问卷调查。本研究采用的是 Evrim Ustunluoglu（2011）设计的问卷，问卷包括30个题目，分别是关于课堂教学、课堂管理、交际技能和个人素质。本文旨在探讨：（1）学生对中外籍教师的整体看法；（2）中外籍教师在课堂教学方面的差异；（3）中外籍教师在课堂管理方面的差异；（4）中外籍教师在交际技能方面的差异；（5）中外籍教师在个人素质方面的差异。本研究采取定量研究和定性研究相结合的方式。问卷结果采用统计软件SPSS16.0进行处理，并且运用描述统计方法和配对样本T检验统计方法来分析数据。定性研究运用半结构化访谈形式，有目的地抽取6名学生参与访谈，并且详细记录结果。
　　本研究主要取得以下研究结果：（1）整体而言，学生既没有偏爱中籍教师，也没有偏爱外籍教师；（2）中外籍教师在课堂教学方面存在显著性差异，整体来说，中籍教师比外籍教师更受欢迎；（3）中外籍教师在课堂管理方面存在显著性差异，总体而言，中籍教师比外籍教师做的更好一些；（4）中外籍教师在交际技能方面存在显著性差异，外籍教师比中籍教师更擅长交际；（5）中外籍教师在个人素质方面存在显著性差异，学生更加喜欢外籍教师的性格。
　　基于以上研究发现，本文提出了一些教学启示：（1）中外籍教师各自都有各自的优缺点，因此中外籍教师都要继续保持各自的优点，弥补各自的缺点。（2）为了增强中外籍教师的教学意识，提高他们的教学效果，加快他们的专业成长，因此在中外籍教师之间进行合作化的教师培训非常有必要。（3）教育管理者在聘用教师时，不能毫无根据地偏爱外籍教师，应该以教师的教学能力和专业素养为聘用依据。
