从功能翻译理论视角看中国四大银行网页简介的英译

摘要

随着经济全球化的迅猛发展，中国各银行不断地壮大自己，走向世界，银行网页简介的英译成为中国各银行国际化必须采取的一项举措。近几年来，银行相关材料的英译受到越来越多学者的关注，然而，以往的研究大多是从金融术语、金融长句及银行公示语的角度进行的，很少有学者从功能翻译理论的角度对银行网页简介的英译进行探讨。
　　本论文从网络上搜取了大量国内外银行的网页简介，组成了一个材料真实、内容丰富的语料库。通过对比分析得出中英文银行网页简介的异同，同时指出当前网页简介英译中存在的弊病。这些质量不尽人意的译文，对银行的对外宣传势必造成一定的负面影响，妨碍网页简介目的的达成。改进网页简介的英译质量必须引起国内各银行充分的重视。
　　本研究以功能翻译理论为理论框架，重点介绍了凯瑟琳娜·赖斯和汉斯·弗米尔的学术观点，并将其运用到中国银行网页简介英译的实践当中。本文在解释国内四大银行网页简介在其英译过程中存在的失当现象的基础上，对不良的英译提出有针对性的改进措施，使其更好地满足受众的诉求，达到令银行满意的对外宣传效果。本文还试图为其他相似文本的英译提供一些建议。
