PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release equipment before moving when time shift viewing executed by a user with certain equipment is moved to another equipment and the time shift viewing is continuously executed by the user. PSOLUTION: When the user instructs equipment 20 on his/her intention of continuing the time shift viewing executed with equipment 10 interrupted at time T1, with the equipment 20 at time T2; the equipment 20 instructs the equipment 10 to stop the recording operation of content data, and starts the recording operation of the content data by time shift buffers of a reception part 23 and a recording part 24. By this, a reception part 13 is released. When the distribution of the content data recorded in a time shift buffer of a recorder 14 from the equipment 10 to the equipment 20 is completed at time T3, the time shift buffer of the recorder 14 is released.
