英语原创文本与翻译文本名词化现象的评价功能对比分析

摘要

本论文将名词化作为专题来研究，以评价理论为框架，利用语料库来对比分析英语原文与英语译文中的名词化的评价功能，旨在从评价功能这一新视角来研究名词化现象，突破传统的对比研究层面，即不是对比同一个作品的原文和译文，而是英语原创文本和英语翻译文本的对比研究。论文从评价理论的三个系统，即态度系统、介入系统和级差系统，来分别对比分析英语原创文本与英语翻译文本中名词化现象的评价功能的相同点和不同点。
　　本论文共由6个部分组成。论文首先在引言部分介绍本研究的意义、目的、理论适用范围和数据来源;第二章是文献回顾，介绍和总结有关国外主要语言学流派和国内知名学者对名词化的研究历史及现状;第三章是理论框架的介绍，主要介绍评价理论框架及其研究的发展，名词化的划分和本论文研究方法，即基于语料库的研究方法;第四章是分析整理从语料库搜集的原创文本和翻译文本中的名词化语料;第五章是从态度系统、介入系统和级差系统分析大量名词化实例，来对比英语原创文本与英语翻译文本中名词化现象的评价功能的相同点及不同点，并对其产生相同点和不同点的原因进行阐释。通过对比分析整理具有评价功能的名词化的数据之后，发现原创文本和译译文本中都有大量的名词化具有评价功能，并大部分体现为态度评价功能，但是，名词化的整体数量存在不等现象，并且其评价功能也有所区别。这种现象最主要是由于译者在翻译过程中所产生的翻译偏差和不同文化价值观而造成的;第六章总结全文，包括文章的新发现、局限性及将来对相关问题开展研究的建议等。
　　通过对原文与译文中名词化的评价功能对比分析，有利于深化和拓展评价理论的研究，同时也为名词化研究开辟新的视角，即在评价理论框架下进行探讨研究，并且为翻译研究提供一个新的研究平面，即展开英语原创文本和英语翻译文本的对比分析。
