第七届中博会陪同口译实践报告

摘要

会展业在现代社会被称为“朝阳产业”，高速发展的会展业对专业会展英语翻译人才的需求也日益增大。本文为一篇会展陪同口译的实践报告，所描述的口译任务为2012年第七届中博会（长沙）三天期间担任美国重要来长投资商的陪同口译工作。本文旨在以第七届中博会陪同口译实践为基础，通过描述此次会展陪同口译实践的过程、遇到的问题及应对策略，采用经验总结法进一步研究会展口译的难点及译员的训练。
　　 在回顾任务的过程中，报告首先重点描述了译前准备:如中博会背景、陪同行程、开幕式致辞和商务会见的翻译预测，然后是会展前期工作如接机和行程安排的具体过程及内容。笔者也将会展陪同口译进行阶段按口译形式及时间推移分为耳语同声传译、视译和交替传译三个部分，并将各部分的原文和口译文本列出，进行对照。
　　 案例分析中，笔者围绕会展口译的即时性和专业性特点，从任务过程的描述进行分类，其中包括耳语同传中的漏译补救和省略技巧、视译中的归纳策略、交替传译中的专有名词翻译、短时记忆的运用、数字翻译的技巧。
　　 通过对任务的描述和案例分析，笔者在总结部分着重讨论了:1.译前准备工作的重要性，以及如何做好充分的译前准备工作;2.会展陪同口译要求译员有广泛的综合知识，并在无笔记即时的情况下运用短时记忆、归纳省略等方法高质量完成口译工作;3.会展陪同口译的日常训练方法及建议。随着会展行业的快速发展，各国的交流也将日益频繁，会展口译人才的培养也将为此做出巨大的贡献。
