摘要

该文主要依据六十年代以来国内外学者对跨文化交际及文化教学的研究成果,阐述文化因素在外语教学中的重要性;并结合当前中国大学公外英语教学的现状,分析阐明学生社会文化知识贫乏是交际能力低下的原因之一,从而力图探索一些比较适合中国大学公外英语文化教学的新途径.
