论张谷若译《德伯家苔丝》的美学特征

摘要

英国伟大的文学家托马斯·哈代在小说创作方面创立了自己独特的风格。他善于通过对自然环境的描写来表现人物的性格命运和内心情感的变化。哈代化音乐之美、绘画之美于他的创作之中，使其作品具有显著的美学特征。《德伯家的苔丝》作为哈代的代表作，它全面地展现了哈代作品的主要艺术成就。张谷若，中国伟大的文学翻译家之一，他翻译的《德伯家的苔丝》在形式和内容方面都真实而艺术的再现了原文的美学特征。在形式上，他一方面通过使用摹声、摹状、叠词等手段表现原语的音乐之美，另一方面，他发挥译语优势通过变换句式来展现原语的画卷之美。在内容上，他不仅保留了原著的修辞特色，而且用地道的译语将原著的意境和意象及语域特征完美而精湛地传达出来。因此，在众多的译本中，张谷若的译本脱颖而出，他被称为哈代的东方知音。本文主要研究张谷若译《德伯家的苔丝》的美学特征。
