With expansion of social robots’ use, we can find variousrntypes of HRI (human-robot interaction). In this paper, wernused a social interactive robot as a teaching-robot inrnclassroom situation. Our study was designed to find arnpossibility and complements of current teaching-robot,rnwhich was conducted in an educational situation such as arnclassroom of university. Not surprisingly, most studentsrnpreferred human teacher in case of satisfaction andrnperceived comprehensibility. But, from post-test, we werernnot able to find the difference of learning effect betweenrnhuman teacher and teaching-robot. That is, we have tornimprove social function or external form of teaching-robotrnfor decreasing unfamiliarity of robot. Additionally,rnparticipants reported that social interactive robots wouldrnbe able to do a prominent and important role in classroomrnsituation. In future work, we will explore to find adaptablernteaching contents in classroom situation and extend ourrnwork for various age groups and environments.
