Comparative Stuides on Isozymes of 9 Cyprinid Fishes

Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and Esterase (EST0 isozymes of 9 species of Cyprinid fishes were analysed, by means of vertical polyacrylamide gel electrophoressi. Zymogratic analysis showed that the interspecific zymogratic differentces are obvious. Principal compononts and Polar oridnation analysis suggested that they may be divided into 3 groups, (1) Ctenopharyngodon idellus and Leuciscus waleckii, (2) Culter erythropterus, Megalobrama amblycophala and Hemiculter leucisculus, (3)Cyprinus carpio and Carassius auratus auratus. They fall into Leuciscinae, Cu-trinae and Cyprininae respectively. Aristichthys noibilis and Hypophthalmichthys molitrix belong to Hypopy-thalmichthyinae. Isozymogram anylysis indicated that Hypophthalmichthys molitrix and Aristichthys nobilis opproach Cyprininae and Cultrinae repectively These resutls are identical with classical taxonomy.
