Sugar recognition sensors are important.Especially,development of chemical sensors withartificial molecules has attracted much attention.In our laboratory,we have developed complexof γ-cyclodextrin (γ-CyD) and sugar recognition probe possessing pyrene or anthracene asfluorescent moiety.In the systems without spacer between fluorescent moiety andphenylboronic acid (C0-APB or C0-AAB/γ-CyD),sugar recognition function exhibiteddifferent behavior depending on fluorescent moiety).Also,in the pyrene system,sugarrecognition behavior changed significantly by introducing spacer between pyrene andphenylboronic acid).The purpose of this study is to design of a novel fluorescent probepossessing alkyl spacer and anthracene,and to evaluate its sugar recognition function of C1-AAB/CyD complex (Fig.1).
