Simulation of a Cognitive Robot Using WebGL

This paper covers the process of designing, implementation, and utilization of a simulation engine for a cognitive robot using WebGL as the basis of its simulation engine. A new simulation engine entails knowing the platform upon which the simulation is based, knowing the various aspects that must be simulated, understanding the technology that may be utilized to create the simulation, as well as accurately depicting the results identical to the hardware use undergoing the simulation. An introduction to the platform being used for simulation as well as the design of and implementation of the simulation engine follows. The results of the simulation trials are presented. The article ends with lessons learned and future possible research areas.
