Volunteer Activity: The Way to Cultivate College Students' Public Spirit

Volunteer activities for college students as the most common project for colleges and universities in our country carrying out cultural cultivation and playing a role of social support for college students, has been developed to a more mature volunteer service mechanism. As the core connotation of volunteer service, public spirit is a good way to cultivate college students to improve their morals and ethics. This paper starts from the specific activities of college student volunteer, analyzing the reasons for the insufficient exertion of the current university student volunteers' role. In addition, the strategies for strengthening and perfecting the public spirit of college students are put forward, which explains its necessity for the cultivation of college students' public spirit.
