EFFECT OF LIFE STRESS AND COLLEGE LIFE ADJUSTMENT OF COLLEGE STUDENTS ON HEALTH PROMOTION ACTIVITIES

The present invention is intended to investigate an effect of life stress and college life adjustment of college students on health promotion activities. In this regard, a survey has been carried out targeting a total of 312 students studying in colleges or universities in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Incheon from May 16, 2016 to May 20, 2016. Total 307 questionnaires have been collected from 80 male students and 227 female students, and 300 questionnaires, except seven questionnaires omitting some answers, have been investigated. In order to find the relationship between a social demographic characteristic, a life stress level, a college life adjustment level, and health promotion activities of subject college students, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis have been performed using IBM SPSS statics 23. The life stress of college students shows a negative correlation with health promotion activities, and a positive correlation with the college life adjustment. Health promotion activities show a positive correlation with the college life adjustment. Accordingly, following research into the life stress and health promotion activities of college students is demanded.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
