摘要

The purpose of the present study is to clarify the mechanism of the bubble motion transferred from 2D motion to 3D motion in decaying turbulence formed by using an oscillating-grid. The modulations of the bubble motion (gravity-center motion and surface oscillation), ambient liquid-phase motion and the bubble wake motion were pinpointed and extracted by comparing the experimental results in the stagnant water with those in the oscillating-grid decaying turbulence. By combining these results, we discussed the interaction between the bubble and liquid-phase motion, and the transition mechanism. We conclude the enhancement of the transition of the bubble motion from 2D motion to 3D motion and the modulation of the bubble wake motion were induced by collapse of the symmetric property of the bubble-liquid interaction.
