According to the special-temporal correlation and probability distribution between the near motion vectors, this paper presents a fast block-matching motion estimation algorithm in 2D/3D. This algorithm bases on a study of prediction process, early termination and adaptive search pattern. Experimental results show that such method, compared with TSS and DS, reduces the search of stationary block. This method also keeps the image quality efficiently, and reduces search points to improve the speed of motion estimation.%根据视频序列相邻帧之间运动矢量的时空相关性和概率分布特性,提出了一种快速块匹配运动估计算法.该算法使用了搜索起点预测准则、中止阈值准则和自适应搜索策略等.实验结果表明,该算法与三步法、菱形法等相比,减少了对静止块的搜索,在保证图像质量的同时,减少了搜索的点数,提高了运动估计的速度.
