(732)SOME TEACHING INNOVATION ATTEMPTS IN THE SUBJECT“PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY”

“Principles of Chemistry” is a subject that traditionally has had a high percentage of failure ofthe students and low figures of people doing the exams. Since most of its contents should beknown by the students, this is probably due to the low attendance to the classes. We presenthere the modifications that we have introduced in the last three courses in order to try toincrease the interest of the students for the subject and improve the academic results. Theregular proposal of problems with extra points and the introduction of the new informationand communication technologies have proven to be useful to achieve our aim.
