Evaluation of Drain Situation on Draining Pavement Road by Image Processing Technique

In this paper, it took a picture of the drain situation on draining pavement road with the digital video camera. The image processing technique for evaluating the drain situation was examined based on the obtained image. The targeted road was made an traffic intersection in Kyoto City where draining pavement had been done. After it had taken a picture of the drain situation in the traffic intersection after draining pavement had been constructed, the image data processing was given. Therefore, the drain situation at each position in the traffic intersection was quantified, and the validity of this image processing technique was considered.
