摘要

In this study, the discharge capacity of plastic board drain was measured in a simulated service condition using a newly developed measuring instrument. The effects of core design and filter tensile properties on the discharge capacity were investigated for different air pressures and hydraulic gradients. The experimental results reveals that the discharge capacity decreases with air pressure, while it increases with the hydraulic gradient due to deformation of the filter and the core.
