摘要

The provision of education to children and youth is crucial to all the countries of the world andguaranteeing students' academic success is called for to satisfy the increasing demands of an everevolvingglobal economy and to enhance general impact on the learning and growth of students in allmain aspects such as social, emotional, and personal the well being and life quality of every individual.Academic as well as non-academic factors have a development as many studies have revealed thatthese variables may be utilized as predictors. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to identify thelevel of social connectedness among 300 university students at university of Dammam. In addition, thepurpose of the study was to examine the differences' of the social connectedness level based on theirgender and age. The results of the study indicated that 35% of respondents are in the moderate levelin total, 25% fall into the low level and only 40% fall into the high level of social connectedness.Therefore, outcomes of the study describe some characteristics on the prospective students to assistin providing coaching and mentoring by insuring students suited to their needs and desires for theirstudy.
