In this paper, the optical characteristic of copper oxide nanoparticles with different value of laser pulses (400,500, 600,700 and 800 pulses) deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method on a glass base and annealed to 673K. UV - Visible spectrophotometer to recording the absorption spectra. From these spectra compute of optical constants. The transmittance, absorption coefficient decreases with increased number of laser shots and while energy gap decreases with increased number of laser shots.
