Antimicrobially Active Analogues of Gramicidin S Having Fatty Acyl Moiety

摘要

Two novel gramicidin S (GS) analogues having fatty acyl moiety showed high antibiotic activities against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria tested and low hemolytic activity against sheep blood cell. The CD and NMR studies indicated that the antibiotics have similar β-sheet conformations to that of GS.
