摘要

A comprehensive fat-soluble vitamin LC/MS/MS analytical method (positive ESI, MRM mode) has been developed. Chromatographically separates the major fat-soluble vitamin metabolites away from their endogenous interferences in human serum extracts, and still maintains excellent peak shape for vitamin metabolites in extracts of human serum samples. Linearity and sensitivity is excellent for the major metabolites and natural vitamin forms. This is an improvement over existing methods that only monitor metabolites of vitamin D, as a more complete picture of fat-soluble vitamin status of clinical samples is possible. (1) Eg. This could be important for monitoring general side-effects of statins (cholesterol lowering drugs) which may cause deficiencies of both Vitamin D and Coenzyme Q10~(2).
