Determination of Oseltamivir its metabolite under pandemic season in surface water by LC-MS/MS

We have developed an effective and sensitive method for the simultaneous determination of OE and OC. The OE and OC were detected in all surface water samples collected under pandemic season. The detected concentration of OE was 0.008 to 0.087 ng/mL, and OC was the range of 0.027 to 0.287 ng/mL. We found that concentration of OC, the active metabolite, was higher than OE, the parent compound. This established method can be used to determine pg/mL levels of OE and OC in livestock and sewage wastewater treatment plant, and surface water.
