摘要

We have developed a spectrum measurement system in combination of Fourier-Transform Ion Cyclotron Resonance mass spectrometry (FTMS) with an infrared multiphoton dissociation (IRMPD) technique, using a powerful and wavelength-tunable laser pulse from a free-electron laser. The IRMPD study was carried out by using the facilities at the IR FEL Research Center, Research Institutes for Science and Technology, Science University of Tokyo (FEL-SUT). FEL was tuned over the range of 5.7-9.3 (mu)m with the power of 20 to 70 mW. The fragmentation of peptides and oligosaccharides in gas-phase was investigated by using the FTMS-FEL-SUT system.
