Elevator Designs - Asian Perspective

In the elevator industry - technical or visual features and their orientation - are incorporated in the elevators often in a different manner, in Asia. The design differences in the control system and machinery arrangements may impact the elevator installation contractors and the building designers. The visual features used, their arrangements and orientations affect the users of the elevators ever after. For example when a car driver/owner uses cars having different location of controls/gears etc. leads to some uncertainty. In case of elevators in different buildings, such differences definitely puts users into uncertainty, discomfort, anxiety and at critical times panic even. This is being reviewed in detail, in the "Asian Context".
