The programme of work conducted so far during this Session has concentrated on progressing the 23rd Session Recommendations around the measurement of solution colour in white sugar (viz. GS2 Recommendation number 5, GS3 Recommendation number 2, Subject 7 Recommendation number 1). This work is described later in this Report. No progress has yet been made on Recommendations 1 and 4 from the 23rd Session Report of General Subject 2 due to the time taken to conduct the white sugar solution colour study.These two Recommendations will be the immediate focus of work conducted in GS2 following the Atlanta interim meeting.
