In this work, we present spectra and diffraction patterns of several red, blue and green oxide thin-film phosphors gown by ion-plasma deposition and post thermal annealing. The s pecific phosphors are: Y_2SiO_5:Ce, Zn_2SiO_4:Ti, Ga_2O_3, Gd_2SiO_5:Ce, and ZnGa_2O_4-with blue emission, ZnGa_2O_4:Mn, and Zn_2SiO_4:Mn-with green, and Gd_(1.6)Zn_(0.4)O_3Eu, Gd_2O_3:Eu, Y_2O_3:Eu, and ZnGa_2O_4:Cr-with red. The nature of blue, green and red bands of luminescence in zn_2SiO_4:Ti thin phospbhor is discussed.
