摘要

A rectangular photonic crystal fiber in GeSe_2-As_2Se_3-PbSe chalcogenide system has been numerically modeledfor coherent mid-infrared supercontinuum generation.. The proposed design offers zero dispersion wavelengthat 4100 nm for the optimized geometrical parameters. The nonlinear coefficient is found as high (206 W~(-1).km~(-1))corresponding to the effective mode area of 8.5 μm~2 against pump wavelength at 4 μm. The proposed fiber isexpected to be a good candidate for the generation of coherent supercontinuum mid-infrared lasers sources.
