In this paper, we experiment on how the lecturer's cross-cultural gesture affects learners from across cultures, in the teaching during presentations. Our study consists of a sociolinguistics research resulting from a survey on linguistic behaviors difference between Japanese and Koreans. In our study, we compared our results with the ones derived from a sociolinguistics research conducted in Korean universities, in order to see if there is consistency between the two. Thanks to the results of our experiment, we found out that our experimental premise of “the difference in intercultural behavior influences learners” is correct.
