Knowledge Sharing in Next Generation Web

摘要

In the times of information explosion and knowledge economy,knowledge sharing is a vital means to facilitate the human-machine interaction and machineindependent information processing.Current web cannot meet the goal of knowledge sharing.However,the technologies of the next generation Web,including Semantic Web and Pragmatic Web mainly,may fit for the objective.How to benefit the advantages and overcome the shortcomings of the two technologies is an important issue on knowledge sharing in next generation Web.Aiming at the object,this paper discusses and combines two technologies in knowledge sharing.After investigating the research and practice in knowledge sharing in Web,an analysis and comparison of two technologies in knowledge sharing are conducted.Subsequently,a practical case on explicit and implicit knowledge sharing in digital library combines two technologies is provided.Finally,two conclusions are drawn.The analytic results indicate that each technology has its strong point and can show advantage itself on knowledge sharing in next generation Web.
