Study on Crop-Water Production Function Model in Baoding Plain

According to the data of irrigation experiments in the year of partial drought at Xiong county in Baoding plain, water sensitive indexes of Jensen model and sensitivity coefficients of Blank and Singh model were calculated based on the least squares method. Water production function models of wheat and maize are presented by verifying and analyzing the fitting effects of the fitted multiple regression equations of the three models in Baoding plain. Water sensitive regularities of the two crops are obtained by computing the daily average sensitivity indexes (coefficients) in different growing stages. The results provide a theoretical basis for the design of the optimal irrigation schedules in the growing period of wheat and maize in the area.
