Evaluating the Effects of Web-based Collaboration in a Distance Education Program

To study the effects of asynchronous web-based collaboration in an existing video-based distance education program, the authors structured coursework to enable evaluation of differences in cognitive and emotional aspects of learning between those using web-based collaboration and those completing assignments through traditional independent methods.
