Comparison of the CMOS and BiCMOS simple architecture operational amplifier

摘要

An operational amplifier BiCMOS design technique is implemented to improve overall CMOS characteristics. An analysis is performed of the architecture operational amplifier for 1- mu m BiCMOS technology. A comparison between a CMOS and BiCMOS operational amplifier is performed and verified by the circuit-level simulator SPIC. It is shown that in order to improve BiCMOS operational amplifier deficiencies better design techniques and a more complex operational amplifier architecture could be used.
