The problem of placing SMD parts on electronic or printed circuit boards is mostly solved today by using automatically and rapidly working special machines - which is adequate for mass production with large run quantities - or by using conventional serial robots with big moved masses - which should be changed, especially in the case of small or medium run quantities. Two alternative types of robots are presented here: parallel robots that can meet all technical requirements.
