Inertia Sets of Some Special Sign Pattern Matrices

A sign patter matrix(simple sign pattern )is the matrix whose entries come from the set {+,-.0}.The set of all n n × sign pattern is denoted by n Q . For a symmetric sign pattern matrix A ,we define the inertia set of A to be I(A)={I(B)B=B7∈Q(A)} In this paper, we characterize the symmetric 3-generalized star sign patterns and give the inertia set of a symmetric 3-generalized star sign patterns.
