Extraction of loganin from Cornus of ficinalis Sieb. et Zucc

This paper studied the extraction of loganin from Cornus officinalis Sieb. et Zucc. by solvent extraction and ultrasonic wave extraction. Orthogonal test table L_(16) (4~3 x2~6) and L_9 (3~4) were used with the factors of extracting temperature, extracting time, 95% ethanol volume, etc. The results showed that ultrasonic wave extraction was more efficient than the solvent extraction and the optimum technology as follows: extracting temperature was 80℃, extracting time was 100min, 95% ethanol volume was 60ml. Under there conditions, an extract with loganin concentration 14.16mg/g was obtained.
